Wedding venue: Four Points Hotel by Sheraton, Barrie
I am always excited when I hear that a bride is preparing for her wedding day using a hotel room for one simple reason: I have yet to find any hotel (the Four Points by Sheraton, included) that offers zero windows in the guest rooms. I thrive on window light for portraits of the bride having her make-up done, putting final touches on her attire, or simply socializing with others in the space. In this Barrie wedding photograph, the bride, her mother, and bridesmaid prepare her garter in the Four Points Hotel during the early portion of her wedding day. This new Barrie hotel features modern decor, spacious rooms with plenty of natural light for portraits of the bridal preparations, and a banquet facility perfect for a wedding reception. It is centrally located off Essa Road, close to the highway 400, and provides on-site accommodation for wedding guests who may travel from out of town. I particularly love the glass door separating the living quarters from the bedroom in this suite. It was a unique place to hang the bride's wedding dress for portraits as she prepared for the wedding.
