I love photographing a bunch of gals on a wedding day! This bride gifted matching robes to each of her bridesmaids, specifically so that they could co-ordinate in the photographs taken during the "getting ready" portion of the day. Even though their outfits match, I was hoping to capture an organic moment between them, completely unstaged. With all of the gals standing formally in a line, I spontaneously instructed them to "grab a bum closest to them". Now, to be clear, I certainly didn't intend for them to follow through with the request. Instead, I was hoping a fit of laughter would ensue, and it did! An authentic moment like this is my job to create as an Ontario wedding photographer.
