Wedding Venue: Peterborough Curling Club
Every wedding reception space is carefully decorated to reflect the theme (colour, style, or imagery) of the couple's desires. In this case, the colour scheme of purple was present throughout the room -- in the table place settings, the bridesmaid dresses, the floral arrangements, and using up-lighting along the walls. My rule of thumb as a Peterborough wedding photographer is to document anything that takes more than five minutes, or costs more than five dollars to create. Certainly, the up-lighting qualifies by both of those standards and therefore I captured several first dance images with a wide-angle lens that showcased it.
